Dear Valued Students and Families,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Birmingham School of Music will be closing its doors on August 30, 2025.

This decision did not come easily. After much reflection, it has become clear that due to family circumstances and the economic challenges of the past five years, continuing to operate the school is no longer sustainable. Serving our students and families over the past 30 years has been one of the most fulfilling experiences imaginable. Watching your growth, creativity, and love for music develop has been a true honor. I am incredibly grateful for the trust you've placed in me and my staff and for the vibrant community that has formed within our school.

Our final day of lessons will be Saturday, August 30th. Between now and then, we will continue conducting lessons as usual. The rewards program and make-up lessons will cease to be available effective immediately. 

Though this chapter is coming to a close, the memories made and music shared will remain with us always. From all of us at Birmingham School of Music, thank you for your support, your passion, and for making this journey so meaningful.
